110 participants took part in the tennis competition at the SC Brandenburg facility near the exhibition center. Each athlete had to play seven short matches in the classification over two and a half days. The competition then continued with two matches over two winning sets in final groups of equal ability.

Alexander Traunmüller won the gold medal in his group at his first participation in the National Games! Christoph Trübenbach secured the silver medal in the second strongest group overall. Lars Delventhal came fourth in his group with a good performance.

The opening ceremony in the Union Berlin stadium, athletes' party and closing ceremony at the Brandenburg Gate rounded off a strenuous and successful week for our athletes.

The next events on the agenda for our athletes are the inclusive tennis camp at our facility in mid-August and the Special Olympics state games in Koblenz in September. And, of course, weekly training on our courts.
