Sinja Kraus is back - after her wrist operation after the French Open, she is celebrating her comeback with two victories!

The Austrian-born player played her first tournament (W25) after her injury in her home country. She reached the quarter-finals, which she ultimately lost to the eventual tournament winner Yelena Ivanovna Pridankina (6:7, 6:3).

But Kraus was not satisfied with that and fought her way to the final in the W35 tournament in Braunschweig, winning it against her fellow competitor Marina Melnikova 6:3, 3:6, 6:1.

Sinja won the Lexus Cup title at the ITF tournament in Meerbusch. She beat Lola Radivojevic, who is three years younger than her, 6:4, 6:3 in the final.

Sinja is currently playing at the WTA tournament in Ljubljana and is accompanied by coach Denis Gremelmayr.
