After a narrowly lost away match at Heidelberger TC last Friday (5:4), which was decided in the 3rd doubles, our ladies welcomed the HuT TC Bernhausen team on Sunday in the best matchday weather.
Despite being favored by TC Bernhausen (Bernhausen had won all previous match days), our ladies fought with determination:
Four of the singles were very exciting and were only decided in the match tie-break (8:10, 7:10, 8:10, 10:7).
With a deficit of 2:4 match points, our ladies finally went into the doubles, two of which went quickly and clearly to their opponents. The 2nd double (Dal/Visscher) was able to win the last match point for BASF Tennisclub e.V. and thus reduce the final score to 3:6.
