Jana Lindenthal, our newest member of the Inclusion Department, became double German champion in wheelchair tennis (mass sports class) at the title fights in Cologne.

“I'm very happy that I can continue to pursue my great passion for tennis through wheelchair sport,” says the 32-year-old, who gave herself a present on her birthday with the singles and doubles titles with partner Peggy Blanke (TC Schönebeck, Saxony-Anhalt).

Jana made up for her deficits with strong strokes, especially her serve and return, to win all five singles and two doubles matches in the intense heat of Cologne.

“Jana has everything she needs. If she improves her driving now, she'll be really good,” said national coach Niklas Höfken in recognition of the strong performance.
