But what is the Lions Club anyway? The club is involved in many social and cultural activities and donates to many projects in the area through the associated LIONS-Hilfe e.V. organization. The proceeds from the Advent calendar are used to support various institutions, including the Ludwigshafen food bank, Street Doc and the Sterntaler children's hospice.
