3rd place in the 2nd Bundesliga
In perfect tennis weather, our Ladies 1 welcomed the team from Tennis 65 Eschborn for their last home match of the season on Friday.
Our team was in strong form in the singles: Four of the six matches were won - one of them with nerves of steel in a match tie-break. We went into the doubles with a 4:2 lead.
These then became really exciting again: two of the three matches went to a tie-break. One double was won, one was unfortunately narrowly lost. In the end, our team won 5:4.
Review: Away in Manching
Just two days later, on Sunday, our ladies traveled to Manching for their last match of the season, where the Consultens tennis team was waiting.
The singles were fiercely contested and evenly matched - with the score tied at 3:3, it was back to the doubles.
Unfortunately, two of the three doubles were lost, meaning that our team was narrowly beaten 4:5 in the end.
Strong 3rd place at the end of the season - thank you for your support!
With the last match day, our women's 1 team completed a successful season and secured an excellent 3rd place in the 2nd Bundesliga South.
